UPDATE TO CONTRACT

DEEP STORAGE

At Scale 3PL, we are committed to providing you with an efficient and cost-effective warehousing service. However, we have noticed that some products stored in our warehouse remain stationary for extended periods. While we are happy to offer storage solutions, it is important to ensure that our warehouse operates at peak efficiency to accommodate products that actively generate income for your business and ours.

To address this we are introducing a policy for managing non-moving stock from 1st February 2025. If a pallet of your products does not move within six months, we reserve the right to relocate it to our deep storage facility nearby. This specialised facility is designed for long-term storage and ensures that our primary warehouse remains optimised for active inventory. We are not saying the whole pallet has to move within 6 months, but the stock on that pallet needs to be active and that we are picking from it. 

This change allows us to better serve you by freeing up space for products with higher turnover rates, ultimately contributing to a smoother supply chain for everyone involved.

Should your products require relocation, we will inform you in advance to discuss the process and any specific requirements. Our goal is to work collaboratively with you to maximise efficiency while maintaining the excellent service you expect from Scale 3PL.

USING YOUR OWN PACKAGING

If you would like to use your own packaging instead of our generic packaging, from 1st December, we will need to charge a pick charge for this item.
